本場比賽第二節還剩6分多鐘，Simmons在低位背打戈登，只見Simmons背靠著戈登運了一下球，然後頂開戈登，同時完成了一個後仰跳投。
不同尋常的是，Simmons這次是用右手命中了這個中距離跳投。
眾所周知，Simmons是左撇子，雖然上籃時會用右手完成終結，但是他用右手完成中投還是很罕見的。
外界都說Simmons不敢投三分，但是他在高中時期的三分集錦影片最近被公佈出來，原來Simmons在高中時的三分能力非常不錯。
現在，Simmons又展現出他左右手都可以完成中投，看來真的是深藏不露。
