據太陽記者Evan Sidery報導，上賽季熱火與太陽賽後，當韋德與Booker交換球衣時，曾對後者說：“有任何需要，隨時找我。繼續前進，繼續努力。”
而現在，Booker真的開始尋求韋德的幫助了，他目前正和韋德一起訓練，向他學習一些腳步動作，Sidery還在Twitter上曬出了一段現場影片。
上賽季，Booker場均得到26.6分4.1個籃板和6.8次助攻，投籃命中率46.7%。
