12月10日，紐奧良鵜鶘主場迎戰底特律活塞，在第一節一開始，Ingram竟然在莊神頭上暴扣！

當時鵜鶘以18-8領先於活塞，Ingram接球之後迅速殺到籃下，等待他的是莊神，然而Ingram無所畏懼，直接隔著莊神來了一記暴扣，雖然隨後Ingram倒地，但是現場解說員十分激動，並且認為這個灌籃實在是太燃了。

這個暴扣也點燃了主場球迷的熱情，他們為Ingram送上掌聲。
